He starts by checking your mouth and asking what you’d like from your dentures, including anything that bothers you about a current set. You’ll be able to check how they look and feel before they’re finished, and he’ll adjust the fit if needed.

Private dentures from £250 for a single tooth. The full cost depends on your denture, and you’ll receive a written plan before you decide. NHS dentures are also available, so please ask us about these.

Common questions

Will they feel natural straight away? New dentures can take time to get used to. If they’re rubbing or feel loose, tell us and we’ll check the fit.

Can dentures be held in place by implants? Yes, this may be possible if you’re suitable. Dr Ahmed Khalid provides implant-retained dentures and can talk you through your options.
